Invisalign from Tru Family Dental

Invisalign is a revolutionary way to straighten your teeth without braces. A custom-made series of aligners are created for you that will gently shift your teeth into the right position. The nearly invisible plastic of Invisalign means you can smile without bulky metal and wires in your mouth. Invisalign has proven effective in clinical research to give you a straight smile with minimal interference to your life.

How do Invisalign treatments work?

1. Schedule an appointment to talk to an Invisalign provider. You can contact our office for a consultation, which will involve a discussion of your case with the doctor during which time you can ask questions about the treatment, costs and other concerns.

2. Receive a customized treatment plan from your doctor along with your first set of custom aligners. The aligners are virtually invisible and will not irritate your mouth and gums the way traditional braces do.

3. Every two weeks, you will receive a new set of aligners. You are meant to wear them for 20 to 22 hours each day. Simply remove the aligners to eat and brush your teeth and wear them for the rest of the day.

4. At the end of your treatment, you will reveal your new smile! You will also receive a set of retainers to maintain your straight teeth.

Is Invisalign right for me?

Invisalign can treat cases of crooked or protruding teeth to more serious problems like overbite or underbite. Invisalign can also correct wide gaps, overcrowding and crossbite. Consult with your doctor to see if your teeth can be straightened with Invisalign.

When will I see results?

On average, cases in adults take about 12 months. For teens, the length of treatment is compatible to that of braces. Each case is different, though, and your doctor will be the best person to assess how long your treatment will take if you follow it carefully.
